Surface treatment method for drum

The surface treatment method of the drum can vary depending on the environment and usage scenario. In general, the surface treatment methods for rollers are divided into the following categories:
(1) Galvanized
Galvanizing is suitable for industrial equipment and facilities such as light industry, instruments, electromechanical, agricultural machinery, and national defense. It is currently the commonly used surface treatment method for rollers and belongs to truly environmentally friendly galvanizing. Compared with traditional oxidation galvanizing, it has the following characteristics:
1. No need for highly toxic cyanide, wastewater is easy to treat
2. The coating has fine crystallization, good luster, and dispersion ability and deep plating ability similar to cyanide plating solution, suitable for electroplating complex shaped parts
3. Stable plating solution and easy operation
4. No corrosion to equipment
5. Low cost
(2) Decorative chrome plating
Decorative chromium is mainly used for equipment and facilities such as automobiles, bicycles, daily hardware products, household appliances, instrument switches, mechanical components, etc. Decorative chromium adopts nickel and nickel chromium processes to ensure product quality. The surface is silver white, and the decorative chromium has the characteristics of strong corrosion resistance and good decorative effect, with a high reflectivity coefficient.
(3) Adhesive treatment
Rubber roller is a rubber product made by coating a rubber layer on a metal steel pipe and vulcanizing it. Compared with ordinary rollers, rubber coated rollers have the characteristics of elasticity, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, oil resistance (nitrile rubber), temperature resistance, and no rust; This treatment can increase the surface hardness, improve wear resistance, temperature and corrosion resistance, etc. Imported raw materials and adhesives are used, commonly including natural rubber and nitrile rubber, with black, green, and light gray as recommended colors.
(4) Hard chrome plating
Hard chromium, also known as wear-resistant chromium, can increase surface hardness, improve wear resistance, resistance to temperature and corrosion, etc. It is used in the treatment of mechanical molds, plastic molds, corrosion-resistant valves, printing, textile and paper rollers, and measuring tools, with a silver white surface.
