1. The conveyor belt should be kept clean during transportation and storage, avoiding exposure to sunlight or rain or snow, and preventing contact with substances such as acids, alkaline oils, organic solvents, etc. It should also be kept at a distance of one meter from the heating device.
2. The temperature inside the warehouse should be maintained between -18 ℃ and -40 ℃ during storage, and the relative temperature should be maintained between 50-80% RH.
3. During storage, the product must be placed in rolls and not folded. It should be flipped once every quarter during storage.
4. Conveyor belts of different types and specifications should not be used together, and their joints should be glued together.
5. The type, structure, specifications, and number of layers of the conveyor belt should be selected reasonably according to the usage conditions.
6. The running speed of the conveyor belt should generally not be too high at 2.5 meters per second. For materials with large block size and high wear, and the use of fixed plow type unloading devices, low speed should be used as much as possible.
7. The diameter of the transmission drum of the transport machine and the matching of the conveyor belt fabric layer, the transmission drum, the reversing drum, and the requirements for the groove angle of the idler should be reasonably selected according to the design regulations of the transport machine.
8. The feeding direction should follow the running direction of the tape. To reduce the impact of material falling on the tape, a chute should be used to minimize the distance of material falling; The receiving section of the tape should shorten the spacing between the rollers and use buffer rollers. To prevent material leakage, a soft and moderate blocking plate should be used on the belt side to avoid the blocking plate being too hard and scratching the surface of the conveyor belt.
9. The following precautions should be taken when using conveyor belts:
(1) Avoid the roller being covered by material, which may cause ineffective rotation, and prevent material leakage from getting stuck between the drum and the tape. Pay attention to lubrication of the moving parts, but do not oil the conveyor belt; (2) Avoid starting with load; (3) If the tape deviates, timely measures should be taken to correct it; (4) Local operations on the adhesive tape should be repaired promptly to prevent expansion; (5) Prevent the tape from being obstructed by the frame, pillars, or block materials, and prevent it from being bumped, torn, or torn
