Conveyor belts are easy to use, maintain, and have low shipping costs. They can also shorten transportation distances, reduce project costs, and save manpower and material resources. There are three main aspects to introduce the heat vulcanization treatment of conveyor belts.
1. According to the size of the conveyor belt damage, extend at least 15-20mm along the circumference of the damage, draw a cutting repair line, cut it diagonally at a 45 degree angle, and peel off the damaged cover rubber. When cutting, be careful not to damage the underlying fabric or steel wire layer.
2. Use an angle grinder in conjunction with a tungsten steel grinding disc to deeply polish the damaged part of the conveyor belt, with a recommended grinding depth of 3mm.
3. Lay a fabric reinforcement layer or steel wire reinforcement layer on the polished conveyor belt, apply hot vulcanizing agent to the reinforcement layer and damaged parts, cut the four edges of the uncured core rubber into diagonal cuts, and apply hot vulcanizing agent evenly (the size of the uncured surface rubber should be consistent with the size of the damaged part).
4. Use a hot vulcanization repair device or vulcanizing machine to apply pressure and heat vulcanization.
